Summary The phenomenon of permanent residence in caravan parks has previously been under-reported and under-theorised. Interviews with ten caravan park managers and 50 caravan park residents adorn Park Land. Newton's research offers critical evidence for a pathways approach to vulnerable housing, revealing the significance of health, work and family inequalities and relationships as well as the significance of identity and belonging to ontological security.
