Summary |
A song taught to young children. Describes many events during the travels of a large group of birds at the beginning of time. These nyi:nyi:, having interchangeable human and bird characteristics, set out from Kultuwa (a place known only to Aboriginal people) in the northwest corner of South Australia and travel in a large circle, ultimately arriving back at Kultuwa. The booklet presents the song text itself with the nearest English equivilent underneath, next the literal English translation and finally the explanation of events surrounding that verse. |
