Local note	Gammage copies include both the original paperback which has an incorrect date for the Gallipoli landing as April '15' on p. 4 opposite the photo, and the subsequent hardback edition. The paperback copy was originally the property of Sir John Monash. A typewritten note from Gen. Monash to his wife with comments about the book is inserted inside the front cover. The hardback copy has 'Wayne Spratt' written in ink over the upper surface of the book's pages.
