"Professionally Frank Wright was an engineer who specialized in calcium products and with industrial electrofilters. Soon after becoming a Master of Mechanical Engineering, he became a director of Gilbert McAuliffe Proprietry Limited ... (1926-1928). From 1929 until 1972 he was a director of four large companies: Victor Electric Plaster Mills (1929-1970); Australian Portland Cement Limited (1956-1964); Kandos Cement Company Limited (1964-1973); and Australian and Kandos Holdings Limited (1964-1973). He was also prepared to use his skills for honorary public service, especially on the Austin Hospital's Board of Management. He served in both world wars."--Back cover. |
