Summary	This volume contains the second part of the journals of G.A. Robinson to be published in full. As such it is a part of a programme to make available to the public the ethnographically valuable sections of Robinson's voluminous diary. Readers are referred to 'Records of the Victorian Archaeological Survey', No. 5 for the previously published extract, and - for a brief detailing of the background to Robinson's writings - to the Introduction by the present editor, in that volume.
