Summary "Cultural Heritage Management Australia has been engaged by the Yass Valley Council to conduct an Aboriginal Heritage assessment across the Yass Valley Local Government Area (LGA). This project aims to use a variety f published works, primary sources, oral history and archaeological investigation to document previously unrecorded areas and items of Aboriginal cultural heritage value within the Yass Valley LGA. The project is jointly funded by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and the Yass Valley Council. The Yass Valley LGA is referred to as the ?Study Area? for the purposes of this report." - p. v.
