Summary	This is the report of a preliminary archaeological survey carried out in the Otway region as part of a multi-disciplinary study into the effects of increased hardwood production. The survey was undertaken to provide information on the archaeology of the region and was conducted during the period 22 March to 30 March 1982. This work was carried out with the financial support of the Environmental Studies Division, Ministry for Conservation, Victoria, Australia. The contents of this publication do not necessarily represent the official views of the Ministry.
